Terms of Service

RollCall is a UK-based platform that helps tabletop wargaming players find local opponents, post game listings, and build trusted gaming communities. RollCall is provided by RollCall ("we", "us", "our").

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use RollCall. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
• You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.
• Notify us immediately at hello@rollcall.gg if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

When using RollCall, you agree not to:

• Post content that is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise offensive.
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users, whether on or off the platform.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate illegal activity.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
• Attempt to manipulate the rating or trust system (e.g. fake ratings, collusion).
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform without permission.
• Upload viruses, malware, or any other harmful code.
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure or security.

• Listings must be genuine offers to play a tabletop game. Do not post listings for unrelated purposes such as advertising or solicitation.
• Hosts are responsible for ensuring accurate details (game system, date, location, points level).
• Both hosts and players should communicate clearly and honour confirmed games. Repeated no-shows or cancellations may result in account restrictions.

After completing a game, both players may leave a rating. Ratings are submitted through a blind system and cannot be changed once submitted. Your trust badge is calculated from your completed game history and ratings. Abuse of the rating system (fake reviews, revenge ratings, or collusion) may result in account suspension.

• You retain ownership of content you post on RollCall (profile information, listings, messages).
• By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the platform as necessary to operate the service.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
• The RollCall name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property and may not be used without permission.

We reserve the right to moderate content, investigate reports, and take action against accounts that violate these Terms. Actions may include warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal of your account. We aim to be fair and proportionate in all enforcement decisions.

• RollCall is a platform for connecting players. We are not responsible for the conduct of users when they meet in person.
• We do not verify the identity of users beyond the information they provide. Always take sensible safety precautions when meeting someone for the first time (see our Community Guidelines).
• The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be available at all times or free from errors.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RollCall and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (if any).

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Anonymised game and rating data may be retained for platform statistics.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of RollCall after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of RollCall shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
