Community Guidelines

Last updated: March 2026

RollCall exists to help tabletop gamers find great opponents and build a trusted local community. These guidelines set out the standards we expect from every member. They apply to all activity on the platform — profiles, listings, messages, and ratings.

1. Be Respectful

Treat every player with respect, regardless of experience level, army choice, painting skill, or background. We are all here because we share a love of the hobby. Disagreements about rules or tactics are normal — personal attacks are not.

2. No Discrimination or Hate Speech

RollCall has zero tolerance for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any other form of discrimination. Content that promotes hate, extremism, or supremacist ideologies — including through faction choices, display names, or profile imagery — will result in immediate account removal.

3. Honour Your Games

  • If you confirm a game, show up. Repeated no-shows waste other players' time and damage trust in the community.
  • If you need to cancel, let the other player know as early as possible through the platform.
  • Be punctual. Arrive at the agreed time with your army ready to play.

4. Fair & Honest Ratings

The rating system is the foundation of trust on RollCall. Rate your experience honestly after every game. Do not:

  • Leave a negative rating because you lost the game.
  • Coordinate with others to inflate or deflate ratings.
  • Threaten another player with a bad rating to influence their behaviour.
  • Create fake accounts to rate yourself or others.

6. Protect Your Privacy & Others'

  • Do not share another player's personal information (real name, address, phone number) without their explicit consent.
  • Avoid posting photos of other players without their permission.
  • Use the platform's messaging system rather than sharing personal contact details with people you have not met.

7. Reporting

If you encounter behaviour that violates these guidelines, please report it through the platform's reporting system or email us at info.rollcallgg@gmail.com. All reports are reviewed by our moderation team and handled confidentially. We will never reveal who made a report to the person being reported.

8. Enforcement

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

  • A warning from our moderation team.
  • Temporary suspension of your account.
  • Permanent removal from the platform.

The severity of action depends on the nature and frequency of the violation. Serious offences (hate speech, threats, safeguarding concerns) will result in immediate removal without warning.

Safeguarding Policy

RollCall takes the safety of all users seriously, with particular attention to the welfare of young and vulnerable people. This policy outlines our approach to safeguarding.

Age Requirements

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account on RollCall.
  • Users aged 16–17 should have parental or guardian permission to use the platform and to meet other players.
  • If you are under 18, we strongly recommend meeting opponents at public venues (gaming shops, clubs) rather than private addresses.

Meeting Safely

RollCall connects strangers. While the vast majority of interactions are positive, please take sensible precautions:

  • For your first game with a new player, choose a public venue such as a gaming shop, club, or community centre.
  • Let someone you trust know where you are going and who you are meeting.
  • Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong before or during a game, leave.
  • Check a player's trust badge and ratings before confirming a game. New accounts without ratings deserve extra caution.

Reporting Safeguarding Concerns

If you have concerns about the safety or welfare of any user, particularly a young person, please report it immediately:

  • Use the report function on the platform to flag the user or content.
  • Email us directly at info.rollcallgg@gmail.com for urgent safeguarding matters.
  • If someone is in immediate danger, contact the police on 999.

All safeguarding reports are treated as urgent and confidential. We will cooperate with law enforcement and safeguarding authorities where required.

Our Commitment

We are committed to creating a platform where everyone can enjoy tabletop gaming without fear. We will continue to develop our safety features, moderation tools, and community standards to protect our users.
